Printed by Thomas de la Rue. The initial denomination of his important series, the first issued by the Banco Central de Guatemala, offered here in specimen format. A look at the PMG population report shows that this is the sole finest in the PMG population report. This is the first issue of this denomination, which was also printed by Waterlow & Sons with the same basic design. Not often seen in this format (and not common in issued format either) this is an important opportunity for the specialist to acquire the finest known example of this Pick number.
