GUATEMALA. Banco Agricola Hipotecario. 5 Pesos, 1.8.1914. P-S102c. PMG About Uncirculated 50 EPQ.
1914 date of this type that was printed by Waterlow & Sons and issued between 1895 and 1920. Much nicer than typically seen, with fresh, bright colors and just a few folds as can be expected for the grade. Quite unusually for a note that circulated in Guatemala over a century ago this example has retained full original paper as is evident by the "EPQ" designation awarded by PMG and is the highest grade that has been deemed fully original. For the entire type this is the second finest example in the PMG population and it is surpassed by just a single finer example graded AU55. For collectors of original notes we suspect the piece presently offered is preferred.
