A very special Banco Central overprinted note on the Banco Nacional 50 Colones. This version of the Banco Central overprint contains "POR" at the bottom left of the front of the note seen in small blue ink to the bottom right of Manuel Gacia Escalante's portrait to signify the signature was applied on behalf of the president of the board of directors. PMG Comments "Rust."
