COLOMBIA. Estado de Cundinamarca. 1 Peso, 31.12.1857. P-S151. DP 11800. PMG Very Fine 30 Net. Tape Repaired, Small Tears.
A type not previously offered by us in our lengthy auction history. Printed locally as credit vouchers by Martinez Hermanos. A seldom seen issuer, the back allowed for interest payments to be recorded, which on this note was done exactly once. Very scarce in any grade, with most survivors found in lower grades such as this. Despite various tears and tape repairs all design elements remain present on this example. PMG comments "Tape Repaired, Small Tears."
