A pair of unrelated notes from opposite ends of the United States. The Confederate $5 is a rather generic piece while the 1 Cent note issued by the Lewiston Falls Bank comes from one of a handful of issuers from this Androscoggin County community opposite Auburn on the other side of the Androscoggin River. PCGS Banknote comments "Edge Splits" on obsolete note and "Minor Edge Splits" on Confederate Note.
