Rather unassuming and similar to the bulk of $100 FRNs from the period, this note is different in two distinct ways. First, this note is among a small number of replacements recorded for the San Francisco district. Just 13 replacements are recorded by the likes of Track & Price. Second, the star which indicates replacement status in the right serial number has been inverted, a curious fate which befell a handful of notes when the Third Printing was applied.
