Columbia, Texas. Commercial & Agricultural Bank of Texas. 1849 $1. Very Fine.
No. 1210. Plate A. An attractive Obsolete from Texas dated to the late 1840s based on the penned date. A vignette of (presumably) Daniel Boone can be seen at left while a Native warrior in a canoe can be seen at right. A small vignette of an eagle perched upon a cactus at center not too dissimilar to the Mexican coat of arms can be seen right above the bank title.
