A most unusual arrangement of $1-$3-$1-$5 makes for a striking sight. A curious assortment of portraits are encountered as the likes of Filmore, Jackson, and Taylor are encountered separately on each note. Perhaps the officers of this bank had Whig political leanings and wanted to attract Democrat customers on account of Jackson's depiction? Whatever the case an interesting item from a bygone-era of American finance.
