KM-129; Basso-56; PNM#6-128; PNM#16-282; PNM#21-VIII-99; Cacho-IX-CS-056; Gil-5-4-3-III. Issued by decree of 20 December 1834 and suppressed 31 March 1837 (by decree of 1 February 1836). Countermark: Type VI; crowned Y.II. within circular incuse. Applied to the obverse of a 1829-Go MJ Mexico Republic 8 Reales (KM-377.8). This moderately worn example displays mottled gray patina with areas of lighter coloration. The countermark is bold, though slightly uneven with weakness in the queen's ordinal, on a wholesome looking host.
