GREAT BRITAIN. Charles I Scottish Coronation at St. Giles's Gold Medal, 1633. PCGS Genuine--Holed, VF Details.
MI-266/60; Eimer-123. By N. Briot. Diameter: 29mm. Obverse: Crowned and draped bust left, wearing elaborate collar; Reverse: Thistle. A VERY RARE type in gold, this charming Briot issue, struck for the Scottish coronation of Charles, features an unfortunate hole at the top of the obverse, likely pointing toward its use as a jewelry piece. Nevertheless, it affords a great chance for a type that is rather often very difficult to acquire.

"雕刻者：N. Briot。直徑：29毫米。正面：戴冠披風的頭像向左，領結華麗；背面：薊花。非常稀有金質獎章，為查爾斯的蘇格蘭加冕而鑄造的，在正面的頂部有打孔，可能曾被用作珠寶飾品。儘管如此，版式稀罕，依然是不可多得的入手良機。"
