Description

Fr. 750. 1918 $2 Federal Reserve Bank Note. New York. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.

Certainly one of the more popular large size types and always a strong hit with collectors when offered publicly in a Gem state of preservation. The reverse vignette displays an intricate rendition of a New York Class Battleship, specifically the USS New York (BB-34) which served with distinction in both the First and Second World Wars before being scuttled off Hawaii almost two years after atomic testing at Bikini Atoll in 1948. This example likewise displays crisp & pack fresh appeal, and a fitting vignette/bank combination and is undoubtedly worthy of a premium bid from the collector seeking to add a premium example of this iconic note to their collection.

Estimate: $3000.00- $5000.00
