Fr. 262. 1886 $5 Silver Certificate. PMG Extremely Fine 40 EPQ.

An example of the short-lived and famed "Silver Dollar" reverse, and mainstay of collector demand. The present example offers a proverbial cocktail of desirability on account of the bold colors, the large ornate spiked Treasury Seal, exceedingly original paper and the reverse vignette which features a quintet of contemporary Morgan Dollars that each appear with almost a prooflike radiance. All factors which lend this example the eye appeal of an example with a higher assigned grade. Noted for "Exceptional Paper Quality" by PMG.
