A note of uncommon quality representing a long-lived type. A vivid armored vignette of Liberty holding a sword and shield stands defiantly at right and is accompanied by a right-facing portrait of the American financial wizard Alexander Hamilton at left. The technical quality of this example stands apparent and surpasses most of its peers on account of the bold contrast between the denim-blue serial numbers and bright red Treasury Seal and the ever-intricate reverse design composed from a series of geometric patterns laid against the bright and original paper. Overall, a superior example representing an entry of uncommon quality for a common Friedberg.
