Similar to their counterparts issued under the "Series of 1917" those from the "Series of 1880" account for a scarce sight in comparison. Printed with a multitude of seal varieties and signature combinations, individual Friedbergs are seen with little frequency. The present example which features the Tillman-Morgan signature combination displays crisp paper and retains exceptional eye appeal while uneven margins likely precluded it from a higher grade. Nonetheless, a great example of an uncommon signature combination and Friedberg.
