CANADA. Native Gold Specimen. Approximately 31.1 mm x 25.5 mm x 10.0 mm. 30.9 grams.

XRF tested as 83% to 93.83 % gold, 2.88% to 2.92% silver, 3.26% to 14.07% iron. The color is rich coppery-gold, with a somewhat coarser texture in the surfaces of the deeper recesses, while areas more vulnerable to handling are a bit smoother. No significant deposits of matrix material remain. Accompanied by a handwritten letter from our consignor detailing how and when he purchased this nugget from Murdoch's, a "local jewelry store" in Dawson City, Yukon Territory, Canada.
