Description

1893 Liberty Head Eagle. MS-65 (PCGS).

Conditionally very rare in Gem grade, this beauty is tied for second highest graded by PCGS, with just three finer in MS-65+. Fresh, radiating mint luster rolls boldly on yellow gold surfaces. The strike is razor sharp from an exacting blow from the dies. Just a couple of tiny contact marks are all that keeps this coin from being at the top of the Pop.

PCGS# 8725. NGC ID: 266Z.

PCGS Population: 11; 3 finer (all MS-65+).

Estimate: $5500
