1894 Barber Half Dollar. Proof-67 (PCGS).
This captivating Superb Gem displays a unique toning pattern of olive-green and charcoal-gray on the obverse and a reverse periphery of cobalt-blue and magenta. It is an expertly preserved coin with smooth surfaces that readily reveal their reflective qualities when viewed with the aid of direct lighting. The third issue in the Proof Barber half dollar series, the 1894 has a mintage of 972 pieces. This specimen ranks among the finest certified and comes highly recommended for inclusion in a stellar Proof type or date set.
