Although not on par with the likes of Carson City or Tallahassee in terms of absolute rarity, Olympia has only approximately 38 notes recorded by the National Bank Note Census. Out of those recorded, 8 large size Nationals are enumerated in the census, except for this unrecorded offering which came to us fresh from the weeds in Nevada. Weathered with evidence of substantial circulation, this example is nonetheless a major rarity and represents one of the major keys required to assemble a reasonably complete set of Nationals from each individual state capitol in the Lower 48.
