Dunkirk, Indiana. $5 1882 Brown Back. Fr. 472. The First NB. Charter #4888. PCGS Currency Gem New 66 PPQ.

There are roughly 30 notes listed for this Jay County bank that produced only $5 Brown Backs during its relatively short lifetime. The note is wonderfully signed, with rich ink colors and jet black printing inks. Very desirable simply as a type note, this is one of the couple nicest examples known.
