No. 34626. Signed by John Laws and John Wiltbank. Wiltbank was from Lewes and fought in the Revolutionary War. He helped in getting Delaware to statehood and served in a number of political positions. Printed by James Adams, 1777. Gem examples of the larger denomination notes from this 1777 series are far scarcer than the small change notes. The PMG Population Report shows that this 2s6d denomination is the scarcest by far from this 1777 issue. They have graded a single gem 65 EPQ and four circulated examples.
