1918-D Standing Liberty Quarter. MS-66+ (PCGS). CAC.
An exceptionally well struck and beautifully preserved Premium Gem early date Standing Liberty quarter. Very close to full head details, just the slightest weakness of the leaves in Liberty's hair is all that keeps this high grade example from a Full Head designation. Satiny lustrous surfaces glow boldly on both sides, particularly on the reverse, which gives life to the pale pastel gold and blue toning seen on that side. The obverse offers a band of dappled gold, violet, and orange tone at the upper periphery. Essentially flawless surfaces further add to the exceptional visual allure of this beautiful example.
PCGS# 5722. NGC ID: 2438.
