1877 Nickel Three-Cent Piece. Proof-62 (NGC).

Popular as one of three Proof-only issues in the nickel three-cent series, the 1877 was probably produced to the extent of 1,250 to 1,500 pieces despite the fact that many numismatic references provide a mintage of 900 coins. Bright nickel silver surfaces are flashy and the devices are crisp.
