Description

1863 Silver Three-Cent Piece. Proof-66+ (PCGS). CAC.

This wonderfully original specimen exhibits lovely toning in a blend of antique silver and steel-olive iridescence, the whole backlit by delicate champagne-apricot and powder blue. Highly reflective, the fields support frosty, fully impressed motifs. Among the finest certified from a mintage of just 460 Proofs for this challenging Civil War era date, and sure to see spirited bidding from discerning numismatists.
