1865 Two-Cent Piece. Plain 5. MS-66+ BN (NGC). CAC.

Second highest graded at NGC and tied for finest verified by CAC, this is a glorious, originally toned Gem with a superb look. Lustrous reddish-orange mint color blends with dominant antique copper-brown patina. Sharply struck and fantastically preserved, you can tell this beauty has been lovingly cared for since it left the mint at the end of the Civil War.

PCGS# 3582. NGC ID: 22NA.
