NEW YORK. New York. 1863 Monk's Metal Signs. Fuld-630BB-15do, Musante GW-627, Baker-469V. Rarity-9. Copper-Nickel. Plain Edge. Overstruck on an 1858 Large Letters Flying Eagle Cent. MS-65 (NGC).

19 mm. The eagle and date from the host coin's design are boldly outlined and clear on the obverse of this attractive medium and pinkish-tan Civil War token. Many other elements of the undertype can be discerned with more or less persistence. A smooth and frosty Gem to represent this rare Fuld number.
