1967 American Numismatic Association Good Fellow Award Medal. Silver. Awarded to Sidney W. Smith. About Uncirculated.

51 mm. 79.2 grams, .999 fine, 2.54 troy ounces ASW. Looped for suspension. Obv: Uniformed bust of George Washington right, peripheral legend AMERICAN NUMISMATIC ASSOCIATION / GOOD FELLOW, artist's initials LK below bust. Rev: Inscribed to the recipient SIDNEY W. SMITH / MIAMI, FL. / 1967. Edge: Marked MEDALLIC ART CO. N.Y. .999+ FINE SILVER at 6 o'clock. Light silver-gray surfaces, the obverse satiny in finish, the reverse with a coarse sandblast texture, both as made. Miami, Florida coin dealer Sidney Smith (1918-1981) was a founding member of the Florida United Numismatists (F.U.N.) and served on the 1968 United States Assay Commission.
