1837 Martin Van Buren Indian Peace Medal. Bronze. Second Size. Second Reverse. Julian IP-18, Prucha-44. MS-63 BN (NGC).

62.2 mm. 1902.6 grains. A second lovely example of this second size in bronze, again from the post-1846 reverse die. The patina is mostly darker mahogany brown, with a couple of slightly lighter areas in the fields and one darker area in the reverse field just past 2 o'clock. Well struck, featuring excellent sharpness of detail and wire rims. Handling marks are few and minor.
