Printed on India paper and mounted to cardstock. Intricate dark shaded die at center. Vignette of Liberty at left, sailor manning the wheel at right. The bank was organized in 1853 and stayed in business until 1865 when it became part of the National Bank of the Commonwealth in the City of New York. The only examples that we have sold were four different denominations in Unc to Choice Unc grade that brought anywhere from $650 to $2500 each in 2014.
