MACEDON. Kingdom of Macedon. Alexander III (the Great), 336-323 B.C. AR Tetradrachm (16.71 gms), Byblos Mint, ca. 320/319-315 B.C. NGC MS, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 2/5. Fine Style.

Pr-3426; Muller-1375. Posthumous issue struck under Ptolemy I as satrap. Head of Heracles right wearing lion's scalp; Reverse: Zeus enthroned left holding eagle and scepter. Well struck with fine style dies, nice luster.
