Description

GERMANY. Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. 5 Mark, 1895-A. NGC MS-61.

KM-160. One year type from a mintage of only 4,000 pieces. Intricately detailed with flashy luster and a very light and attractive veneer of golden toning over both sides. The appearance of few marks and mostly soft, almost unrecognizable handling that determines the grade further advances the premium appearance of this piece. SCARCE in any quality with an accompanying value of $4,500 in MS-60 condition in the Standard Catalog of World Coins.
