Description

MEXICO. Banco de Londres Mexico y Sud America. 1000 Pesos, ND (1866-75). P-S223Bs. Specimen. PMG Uncirculated 62 Net. Stained, Previously Mounted.

(M256s) Specimen. "The Sisters" vignette at left, with a woman laying on fruit at right. Mule Train vignette at upper center like most of the other denominations of the series. PMG merely mentions "Stained, Previously Mounted." The staining is noticed partially at the bottom right of the face, but is more noticeable on the reverse which appears to be as a result of the 1881 Stamp Like overprint on the bottom left of the reverse side. A bright blue colored guilloche design jumps out when glancing at the reverse. PMG Uncirculated 62 Net. Stained, Previously.
