The first variation of this very desirable 1000 Rials design with Reza Shah pictured at right. Western serial numbers, with a basic black design that doesn't feature the stamp that later variants of this design do. PMG mentions the note was retouched in the comments section of the holder. PMG Choice Very Fine 35.
