KM-225; Jovel-Type VIII. Issued by decree of July 1894, commencing 10 August 1894 until early 1895. Countermark: 1/2 Real currency dies with Peso collar. Applied to a 1880-LIMA TF Peru Republic 5 Pesetas (KM-201.2), variety with dot after B under wreath. A RARE host to find in this high state of preservation for this series.
