IRAN. Gilt Copper Toman Pattern, AH 1316 (1898). Brussels Mint. Muzaffar al-Din Shah. PCGS SPECIMEN-65.
KM-Pn23. One of perhaps five examples we are able to trace of this elusive gilt Pattern type, and presumably VERY RARE. Exceptionally attractive and eye-catching, the gilding preserved wholly intact with no trace of cabinet rub or friction. The devices are lightly frosted and gently shimmering, while the fields are watery and strongly mirrored.
