VENEZUELA. 400th Anniversary of the Founding of Merida Gold Medal, 1958. PCGS MS-63.
AGW: 1.7916 oz. Obverse: City view, with mountain range in the background; Reverse: Garnished civic coat-of-arms. A VERY RARE and highly impressive larger-format gold issue, this example offers golden-yellow hues and rich vibrancy throughout. For completeness, a very minor edge bruise at the bottom of the reverse is noted.
