COSTA RICA. Banco Internacional de Costa Rica. 5 Colones, 1925. P-185. PMG Very Fine 30.
A run of 30,000 Serie A notes were issued on Nov. 4, 1925, S/N A 022475. The front shows the denomination at the center with a beautiful guilloche background design and an allegorical woman to the right. The back shows the denomination at the center within an intricate design and the Roman numeral V flanking each side. PMG Comments "Minor Foreign Substance." Only 12 examples graded by PMG.
