S-2627; Fr-238; N-2096; KM-37. Second coinage. Weight: 2.02 gms. Obverse: Crowned thistle; I-R across field; Reverse: Crowned rose; I-R across field. A charming representative of this SCARCER type, especially with the key mintmark, this lightly circulated example provides some burnished cabernet toning to further accentuate the devices.
