S-941; N-426. Topless Lunettes type (BMC D). Ciallaf, moneyer. Weight: 1.31 gms. Obverse: + BVRGRED REX, diademed and draped bust right; Reverse: F MON ETA in topless lunettes above and below + CIALLA. Incredibly impressive and yielding a great portrait of the king, this hammered issue offers elegant toning and great overall metal quality, as well as tremendous pedigrees since its discovery in 1882.
