PERU. 1/4 Real, 1823-L. Lima Mint. Ferdinand VII. NGC AU-55.
EMO-510.5; KM-108; Cal-273. An argent and lustrous exemplar of this final date, featuring a crisp strike across both sides of its broad flan. Note: a number of die characteristics led Emilio Ortiz to conclude that this coin was struck with recut dies originating from the Guatemala mint.
