HGC-1, 803; Vlasto-614 & 616 (same dies); HN Italy-937; Fischer-Bossert-886 (V347/R688). Obverse: Warrior, holding shield and two spears, preparing to cast a third, on horseback rearing right; ΣA below; Reverse: Phalanthos, holding kantharos and trident, riding dolphin left; Ω above arm, Σ below; below, dolphin left. A stunning example of the type that possesses a well centered and well executed strike, this specimen is undoubtedly fully deserving of its star for exceptional eye appeal and flair.
