(t) CHINA. State of Chu. Warring States Period. "Yuan Jin" Gold Cube Money, ND (ca. 475-221 B.C.). Certified "78" by Hua Xia Coin Grading Company.
History of Chinese Currency-pg. 7, #1; Hartill-5.1. Weight: 16.0 gms. Dimensions: 24.5mm x 4.4mm. Inscribed "Ying Yuan". Made in what is now Hubei province, it was cut from larger bars which allowed for the making of small denominations.
