18 mm. Obv: Similar to Julian PR-42, with a left facing bust of Grant and the "signature" PAQUET (but no F) on the truncation. Rev: Inscribed GENERAL / U.S. / GRANT within a wreath. Probably struck in 1868, as was Julian PR-42, and probably intended for election purposes since Grant was elected to his first term as president in that year.
