This format represents an evolution in design, security features, and production quality for the Lealana series. It is also the largest 0.1 Bitcoin type released by Lealana. The original silver 0.1 Bitcoin issued in 2013 was struck on a smaller 1/4oz silver planchet. Released almost a decade later, this bold larger format does well to convey the truly historic significance of the type.
