Undated Peace Silver Dollar. Die Adjustment Strike. (NGC).

Just as the name implies, these die adjustment strikes were created when the Mint installed new dies and check for the proper striking pressure. The present coin shows very weak definition throughout the design types, particularly in the centers and at the peripheries. Dove-gray patina and lighter pewter-silver hues meld together on this intriguing mint error.
