Description
1909-D Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. MS-62 (NGC).
A low mintage date (only 52,500 were produced), the 1909-D is a scare issue in all Mint State grades. This is a wonderfully original and pleasing coin for the grade with a bold strike and warm golden coloration on both sides. The surfaces are quite pleasing for the assigned grade.
