1910-S Indian Half Eagle. MS-61 (NGC).
This boldly defined, satiny 1910-S half eagle is lightly toned in pale silver iridescence and is attractive for the grade. The 1910-S is a leading rarity among Mint State Indian half eagles, ranking sixth out of the 24 issues in this series (per Jeff Ambio, A Handbook of 20th Century United States Gold Coins: 1907-1933, original by David W. Akers, 2008 revision). This lovely piece is sure to perform exceptionally well at auction.
