1928-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar. AU-58 (PCGS). CAC.
This attractive coin combines a nearly brilliant appearance with considerable mint luster. Alone among 1928-dated issues in the Walking Liberty half dollar series, the 1928-S is scarce to rare in the finest circulated grades and more challenging to collect than the 1927-S. This piece offers particularly desirable Choice AU, for the vast majority of survivors of this issue are well worn from extensive commercial use.
