30.7 mm. Impressively smooth and virtually blemish-free. The rich reddish-brown surfaces also sport bold to sharp detail throughout the design. A very attractive example. HT-381 is the most frequently encountered type from this merchant, although examples are scarce in an absolute sense. Missing from our August 2019 sale of the Bowers Reference Collection, this is among the finest we have offered in recent decades and compares favorably with the four (!) AU to Choice AU specimens in our Ford XXIII sale of August 2013, as well as the primary Dice-Hicks specimen in Choice AU.
