Description
1798 Draped Bust Cent. S-184. Rarity-1. Style II Hair. AU-50 (PCGS).
Deep chocolate brown surfaces with no detracting marks visible to the unassisted eye; indeed, careful examination under low magnification reveals much the same scenario. Style II Hair with an extra curl added to Liberty's tresses at her shoulder. All things considered, a technically sound and aesthetically superior coin in a lightly circulated early date large cent. Breen Die State IV. This lot includes NGC insert #597758-001 with a grade of AU-58 BN from a previous certification of this coin.
