Description
1786 New Jersey Copper. Maris 21-P, W-4920. Rarity-5. Curved Plow Beam, Mane Punch Before Ears, Narrow Shield. VF Details--Environmental Damage (PCGS).
Light roughness that is a bit more pronounced on the reverse explains the PCGS qualifier. A few ancient scratches engage the lower part of the shield, but otherwise there are no marks of consequence, and the surfaces present quite nicely in warm olive, russet and golden-brown. Well centered on the planchet with all design elements bold.
